Skiing

Uncomplicated and stress-free! The Seiser Alm-Gröden ski area is within easy reach, offering 181 km of varied slopes. Wide, sun-drenched slopes for those first turns, leisurely runs to enjoy at a gentle pace and challenging runs for keen skiers ensure there's a plenty of variety. And you'll always have the Dolomites in view. Stop off at a rustic alpine hut along the way, feel the winter sun on your face and try some tipical South Tyrolean dishes in one of the alpine huts. Ask for our hotel ski pass service. We will pick up the ski pass for you and leave it in your apartment.

Cross-Country skiing

...is an excellent full-body workout - and here at La Paula, we're the ideal base!

Just 1 km from La Paula Apartments & Suites, the Seiser Alm cable car takes you straight to the extensive cross-country skiing area - with around 80 kilometers of trails, the Seiser Alm is the largest in Italy. Whether you prefer classic style or skating, a leisurely outing or a sporting challenge: from simple practice trails to challenging routes with steep climbs, you'll find the right trail for you here.

Christmas markets
Original and traditional! The Christmas markets in the surrounding area provide the perfect festive atmosphere during your winter holiday on the Seiser Alm. There are the bigger and more popular Christmas markets such as the ones in Brixen, Klausen and Bozen and then the smaller markets like the one in Seis and Kastelruth.

Winter walking

A wonderful sense of tranquility awaits you on the Seiser Alm. Countless, far-reaching winter walking trails wind their way through the impressive natural scenery and invite you to explore the snow-covered landscape on foot or on snowshoes, entirely at your own pace. Around our La Paula Apartments, you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of Europe's largest high-altitude alpine pasture: glistening snowfields, alpine pastures in deep snow and a breathtaking panorama of th Dolomites make every winter hike a special experience.

Tobogganing

Enjoy the snow-covered winter landscape together and sledge down the valley: the perfectly groomed toboggan runs offer winter fun for young and old. There is also a dedicated practice run for children and beginners, ideal for those first few runs and for practising safely.

We also recommend romantic horse-drawn carriage rides, fun-filled hours on the ice, and many other winter activities to ensure a varied and unforgettable holiday in the Dolomites.
